EUCALYPTUS is the fifth painting in the Mother Earth series about the strength and vulnerability of nature and humanity. The female figure symbolizes the spirit of Mother Earth and the symbolism of the natural objects pertain to the state of our environment. The black and white birds represent the duality and balance in nature and in ourselves as consumers and stewards of the Earth. The covering of her eyes and mouth are both the gagging and blooming of her creative energy. I chose eucalyptus leaves wrapping around her arms because eucalyptus is known for its healing and purifying properties as we continue the struggle to heal the wounds of the Earth, we as humans have created.
I love this tote! It is large (16” tall, 13” wide, 3” deep), and it’s made of thick, durable 100% polyester canvas. The image colors are rich and vibrant, making a very unique gift for yourself or someone you love. Bags are lined with 100% cotton navy sateen and includes brass magnetic closure. Vegan leather straps available in navy, brown, or black. Hand wash in cold water, hang dry, do not bleach. All tote bags and fabrics are made in-house by a printing company in Montreal, Canada. They manufacture and source fabrics locally to reduce carbon footprint, excess fabrics are donated to inner-city shelters and employees are paid a fair wage.
